What a joy it is to be a part of all God is doing through Sports Reach Ministry. 2023 has been a great year ‘Behind the Razor Wire’, ‘Setting the Captives Free’ with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We ended our year with a trip to Miami. It turned out to be a great trip for everyone involved. We played in Everglades Correctional and the South Florida Reception Center. God was truly at work. We saw some old friends, made many new friends, played a lot of softball, and had a lot of spiritual conversations. When it was all said and done, we saw 31 men pray to receive Christ!!! What a joy and a privilege to get to play softball and share Christ ‘Behind the Razor Wire’! It is an amazing opportunity to see men come to know Jesus Christ as their Personal Lord and Savior. Gaining a new brother in Christ never gets old!!!

Our 27th year is in the books and we are already planning our trips for 2024. If you want a great opportunity to be on mission with God, if you love talking about Jesus and the Gospel, and love playing softball, or just want to walk the yard, contact Carl Smith at 865-661-5611.
