I wanted to share a great testimony with you all from a Sports Reach team member in the USSSA Softball Conference:

“When I started playing in the softball conference I was living for the world. Sometimes I went to church but mainly when it was convenient. I was on top teams with guys that were mostly living for the world and they were consumed with creating their own identity. These guys were playing for the name on the back of their jersey… their own. Something was missing for me and then I played against a team named Sports Reach. On all of Sports Reach jerseys, the name on the back of the jersey was GODS GLORY. I could tell these players were playing for the name on the front of the jersey and giving God the glory. When I experienced a quick word between our teams after a game and a bold prayer, I immediately knew there was something about this team. From then on, whether playing against Sports Reach or eventually playing on Sports Reach, I witnessed managers, coaches, and players sharing testimonies and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. My personal relationship has grown substantially and I’ve been able to share my testimony and take God’s word to others. I’m a strong believer that Sports Reach has the platform through conference softball to reach many men and even women through the game even at the highest levels of softball. By competing in the conference, playing all over the country, and then sharing the gospel post-game, in between games, and around the parks, Sports Reach has the opportunity to reach people who may never step foot in a church. Often around the ballpark I have opposing players coming up to me to talk about God and some asking for prayers. The name Sports Reach is respected in the conference and all the glory is given to God. The impact Sports Reach has had and can have in the future by playing conference softball is substantial.” -Brad Sheffield

God’s Glory!
