In August a group of three baseball coaches went down to Belize to host some baseball clinics. They took gear down for and worked with our friend Jermaine Crawford who is trying to get baseball going consistently in the country. The three that went down were Nathaniel Arington, Aaron Goe, and Kyle Miller. The trip was a total of five days on the ground with three days of camp for about 2.5 hours a day in three locations, Belmopan, Belize City, and San Pedro. The camps went well as the guys worked with about 95 total kids, each camp ranging from 10-50 people in attendance. The camps in several cities let Jermaine connect with and grow closer to players, coaches, and parents to help grow the game of baseball. Each camp the guys and Jermaine shared testimonies and a devotional time. The coaches and Jermaine hope this can be a good jumpstart before there season starts over this next month.
