The 14th Annual Sports Reach Auction and Dinner is the highlight of the year for many people. The evening begins with a silent auction and a lot of hugs and smiles as folks welcome each other through the doors.

Between the silent and live auction, there will be 90+ items available. This year’s auction items include but are not limited to:  Kentucky, Louisville, and Indiana basketball and football tickets, Tennessee Titan Tickets, fishing trips, golf outings, Reds Fantasy Camp tickets, meet and greets with coaches and players, team gear, sports packages, MLB tickets, autographed items, and much more!

Although we have a great yet old school meal, there will be no charge.

Since we count on this night to be our biggest fundraiser, many people might question why we don’t charge. It is because money is not the key focus of the evening. Instead, the thrill of the night will be our special guests, who will share about their involvement with us. This year our speakers will have a definite Campbellsville University persuasion. There are approximately one-hundred CU graduates that have been part of the ministry of Sports Reach. Jim Hardy, a member of the first softball mission trip, will share about his experiences of serving with Sports Reach.

Two CU Lady Tigers will share about their first experience of going on a mission trip.

Savannah Gregory and Madison Shepherd will share about the July mission trip that the school’s athletic department experienced this year. The impact has been truly amazing.

In the middle of our live auction, there is a break where we take a Compassion offering. During this time, we collect gifts that go specifically to people that Sports Reach helps aid.

This year, our goal is to reach $25,000.

We will be giving $18,000 to a ministry in Puerto Rico that feeds homeless drug addicts.

$1,800 to Lee Rose Community Church in Owsley County.

$4000 to Kix-4-Kids who collect and send shoes around the world

$1,200 to prisons in the U.S.

The more the Lord provides, the more that will be done.

Our overall goal for the night is to reach $70,000. For the past several years, we have received a matching of $25,000 per gift. However, this year, I feel that the Lord will surprise us!

Wrapping up the evening, Hall of Fame Jockey Pat Day will share what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

We are excited to share this evening with all of our Sports Reach friends and supporters! If you are unable to attend but would like to help, visit the donation tab on our web page, sportsreach.org.
