Changes, changes, changes! This has been all of our lives for several months.
Fifteen years ago, the first Sports Reach Auction was hatched. We really weren’t sure how we were going to run it. It was held late summer at Severns Valley Baptist, the old location in Elizabethtown, KY.
We had a great crowd show up in the Fellowship Hall to hear UK head basketball coach Tubby Smith. He later told me that he had received more verbal thank you’s, thank-you calls, and notes, than any speaking engagement ever!
Coach Tubby told us, “As long as I am at Kentucky, I will do this every year!”
That was awesome, but he then resigned after that season to go to Minnesota. Oops! Our first big change.
In 15 years, we have adjusted, well changed, several things. Our goal was to try to get better each time, and it did. But, now we are faced with our biggest change ever. We are still working on all the details, but I wanted you to have the heads up now.
We will be having our auction on Tuesday evening, October 22. It will be held wherever you are.
What? It will be on Facebook Live.
The silent auction will be online as well with a lot of items. We will originate the program live from the fellowship hall of Campbellsville Baptist. It will last between 60-90 minutes, but more details to come on that. It will be a program with several short words of testimony and the Gospel presentation. We will have a minute by minute guide published.
How will we raise money? We will just share our message and see how God works!

We are not setting any goals. We will work as we can, but we trust all the results to the Lord.
