"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age"

- Matthew 28:19-20

And now the Lord shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
~ 2 Samuel 2:6

Thank You Lord.

And "Thank You", to everyone that supported our 2014 auction through the prayers, the speaking, the feeding, the providing of gifts, the bidding and just being there in body and spirit.

Now may the Lord show steadfast love and faithfulness to you. And I will do good to you because you have done this thing.
~ 2nd Samuel 2:6

Texas Update

Texas Sports Reach

Today we made a day trip up to the Buster Cole State Jail in Bonham, TX.  We had a great group of around 15-16 guys make the trip.  It was definitely oneof the hottest days of the summer!  They had a small canopy set up for water and a few chairs.  When we weren’t in the field, we looked  like a herd of cattle trying to get under the only tree in West Texas to get a little shade!  Regardless, we had a great day of softball and sharing Jesus with these men…God is Good!

TSR played some great softball, and with the short left field, we put on a homerun derby for several hours!  This facility is a little different than most.  Rather than having inmates in attendance to play and watch, this facility brings out only 10 guys at a time to play.  While this limits some of our interaction, it definitely makes sharing time very focused and fruitful.  We were able to “stay and pray” with each player during each game.  During share time, Kirby was able to communicate the love that Christ has for each Location Wilson And Muir Bank And Trust Co. of these men.  Also, Monty made a tremendous impact on all of the men, as he was able to share his own personal struggles and incarceration.  He shared how his life was changed because of his relationship with Jesus!  In total, we saw 10 men give their life to Christ, 27 rededications, and 52 men signed up for bible study!

This was a fantastic day trip…I appreciate the opportunity we have!
